**Position**
Join a team of likeminded and experienced Paediatricians. The position is suitable for a paediatrician who has competency in acute Paediatrics, Neonatology (Level 4 SCN), Ambulatory Paediatrics including Developmental and Behavioural issues. Experience, interest or training in Paediatric Diabetes, teaching and education can be an advantage.
The acute Paediatrics service is supported by six (6) Paediatric Registrars providing 24/7 onsite cover and three (3) Paediatric HMOs seven days a week.
The Paediatrics service is located at a major acute referral hospital for the sub region.

The hospital is a leading Regional Public Health Service in the Hume Region of Victoria and a pioneer in healthcare delivery. It is the primary acute referral hospital for the sub-region, with the main campus located in a great location. Pathology services are partnered with Melbourne's Austin Hospital, while Medical Imaging and Pathology services are available 24/7 onsite.
**Location**
The location is perfect for those who appreciate mild weather, abundant water, and sandy soils, which have enabled the region to produce award-winning wines since the 1860s. The area is home to numerous vineyards, orchards that grow apples, pears, peaches, and other stone fruits. Additionally, visitors can explore Victoria's longest rail trail, winding through the beautiful countryside in the foothills of the Victorian Alps. There are excellent schools, facilities, and cosmopolitan Melbourne is just 2 hours away.
**Requirements**:
The position requires AHPRA Specialist registration (RACP -Paediatrics) or eligibility for FRACP within 6 months.
Overseas Specialist qualifications assessed by RANZCOG as Substantially Comparable/ International Specialist from NZ, United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada and South Africa looking to be assessed are welcome to apply.
