The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager for a full-time position based across our Cleveland and Victoria Point clinics. This is a senior leadership role suited to a motivated, results-driven professional ready to make a real impact.
This role presents a rare opportunity to take the reins of two clinics. You'll have the platform to shape a thriving business in the community, deepen relationships with referrers, and foster a culture where people and performance truly flourish.
As Practice Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our clinic's day-to-day excellence and long-term success. You'll ensure every patient receives outstanding care, every referrer experience seamless service, and every team member feels valued, supported, and empowered.
This role goes beyond management, it's about leading transformation, championing growth, and setting the benchmark for service, culture, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership: Manage all day-to-day clinic operations, ensuring efficient patient flow, appointment scheduling, and optimal resource allocation.
Team Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and develop administrative and clinical support staff, fostering a positive, high-performing team culture built on accountability and collaboration.
Financial Management: Oversee billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, and cost control to ensure financial viability, performance, and profitability.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict adherence to healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, WHS requirements, and privacy legislation.
Patient Experience: Implement strategies to enhance patient satisfaction, actively welcome feedback, and resolve concerns professionally and effectively.
Practice Growth: Collaborate closely with directors to identify opportunities for improvement in practice procedures and clinic dynamics, liaising with staff and patients to drive continuous improvement.
Build and maintain strong referrer partnerships, acting as a trusted representative of Qscan Group within the community.
Balance strategic leadership with hands-on involvement in daily operations, including frontline support when required.
What We're Looking For
Proven leadership experience in healthcare, with a strong track record of managing people, performance, and priorities.
Sound understanding of Medicare, DVA, WorkCover and private billing processes.
Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills with a patient-first mindset.
Strong commercial acumen, operational capability, and the ability to identify and act on growth opportunities.
Confidence using clinical systems, reporting tools, and digital workflows.
A collaborative leadership style with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop teams.
