THE OPPORTUNITY In this newly created position the Payroll Manager will assume end-to-end accountability for Payroll governance and compliance across a complex, nationally based workforce. With the support of HR Centres of Expertise, People Services, Finance, Legal and other key stakeholders you will be provided with the autonomy to: review/enhance Payroll processes improve service delivery and mentor, train and develop your Direct Reports to ensure employees receive the highest quality Payroll support in terms of timeliness and accuracy operate as a key advisor on Payroll legislation, Award interpretation and Payroll risk management as the organisation transitions through change programs and further acquisitions to align with growth strategy IDEAL APPLICANTS You will present with 10 years of experience in Payroll with at least 3-5 of those years in a senior Payroll leadership role in a complex Australian environment. Your “depth” of experience will include interpreting Awards and translating requirements into Payroll systems and controls. You will bring a proven ability to identify Payroll risk and design preventative controls.
