Speech Pathologist: Early Career & Graduate Opportunities

Employment Term: Ongoing, Full-Time, Part-Time

Total Remuneration Package:Above award and attractive bonus options for more experienced therapists.

Location: Lismore NSW and the far north NSW area

Flexible Working Arrangements: Including working from home, flexible hours, very strong family focus and accommodations for therapists with children.

About the role

Easy Access Psychology is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our growing team in Lismore, NSW. This role will play a vital part in providing exceptional care and support to our clients. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality therapy services and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for the individuals we serve. Easy Access is the go to allied health team for supporting families with early intervention and known for their multidisciplinary approach.With a strong team collaboration you will be strongly supported.

We are interviewingthe full range of therapists from Highly Experienced (team leaders) to Early Career & New Graduate Speech Pathologists (even students wanting to start in therapy assistant roles are encouraged to apply) with a passion for supporting a diverse client group (but majority paediatric) with our highly experienced allied health team

We can support flexible working arrangements and can offer part-time and full-time positions.

Weekly one to one mentoring with a Senior Speech Pathologist

Fortnightly peer supervision with the speech team

Dedicated new grad program, with a gradual build up of client contact

Fortnightly peer supervision with the the whole allied health team to gain insight from many very experienced therapists

Diverse caseload experience

Monthly team meetings and regular team building events

Extensive shadowing and induction period

Laptop with the latest technology platforms set up for a smooth experience

A purpose built therapy center with all the essentials: sensory room, variety of therapy spaces, resource room with all the assessments, resources and games, staff communal facilities with all the comforts, and hot desk space, all areas are created and designed to be neuro affirming

Incredible administration support (immediate phone support from our clinically experienced management team)

Opportunities to conduct collaborative sessions with other therapists on the team

Professional Development allowance for external courses, insurances and registration paid for

Leadership and specialisation career pathways

What you'll be doing

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans

Provide evidence-based speech pathology interventions to help clients achieve their goals

Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care

Maintain detailed clinical records and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services (AI note taking is incorporated into our software)

Participate in team meetings, professional development activities, and community engagement initiatives

We recognise that the Speech Pathology scope of practice is diverse

We ensure that we understandyour scope of practice and clinical areas of interest. This allows referrals to be allocated depending on your scope of practiceIf you are wanting to try a new area of specialty in the speech field we can support you with the change.

We support you to develop new areas of practice and further increase your skills in your main clinical area of interest.

Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families

Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development

Experience working with a diverse range of clients, including children, adults, and the elderly
