Fixed-term, 1FTE position available for 12 months

This position is funded by Professor Shaobin Wang's ARC Laureate Project (FL The postdoctoral researcher will contribute to the project by developing nanostructured single atom materials for environmental and sustainable catalysis, conducting mechanistic studies, and enabling large-scale materials production and applications. The initial contract is for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance or the successful attainment of University or external fellowship funding (e.g., NHMRC, DECRA and new ARC fellowship)

This is an ARC funded postdoc position for developing upscaled single atom catalysts for water purification.

To be successful you will need:

* Completion of PhD degree in the relevant discipline or have equivalent qualifications or research experience in Materials, Environmental and Chemical Engineering in recent five years
* Evidenced research experience in the single atom (SAC) materials synthesis, analyses, and performance test, and mechanistic studies of catalytic processes for advanced oxidation technologies
* Strong track record in publications in high impact journals as first author and co-author such as Nature Water, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials or equivalent
* Ability to perform administrative functions in lab/group primarily connected with the area of research in SAC materials, characterisations and analyses
* Ability to provide advice and support to postgraduates (PhDs and master students) and honours students.
