About the role
We are hiring an eCommerce Sales Manager to own Clever Gear's digital revenue engine end-to-end.
This is a senior, sales-led commercial role for someone who combines execution speed, strong commercial judgement, and a genuine drive to hit revenue and profit targets. This role treats eCommerce as a profit centre, not a support function.
You will actively chase revenue opportunities, make decisive calls when performance misses, and use real commercial levers to drive growth. This is not a passive optimisation role. It is an ownership role.
What you'll be responsible for
* Owning end-to-end eCommerce revenue across Shopify D2C and online marketplaces
* Treating eCommerce as a profit centre with accountability for revenue quality and margin contribution
* Owning website performance including merchandising, offers, bundles, and promotions
* Launching and executing high-impact revenue initiatives
* Responding quickly and decisively when sales underperform
* Driving growth through pricing tactics, bundles, upsells, cross-sells, and seasonal opportunities
* Focusing effort on actions that create real commercial impact, not vanity metrics
You will set direction while remaining deeply hands-on in execution.
Passion for consumer technology
You genuinely care about consumer technology and how products are experienced by real customers. You notice when product pages, offers, or buying flows feel clunky or underdone, and you take pride in presenting products in a way that reflects their quality.
If consumer tech feels like just another category, this role is unlikely to be a fit.

What success looks like (6 – 9 months):
Within 6 to 9 months:
* Leadership trusts that eCommerce is being handled
* Urgency exists without being pushed
* The website reflects pride, judgement, and commercial intent
* Focus is on strategic revenue-generating projects
* Corrective action happens fast when sales underperform
About you
* Have 4+ years owning or running an eCommerce or digital sales channel
* Have hands‐on experience with Shopify and online marketplaces
* Think commercially across revenue, margin, pricing, and conversion
* Are comfortable making decisions with imperfect information
* Move fast, learn fast, and take pride in outcomes
Founder or operator experience is highly regarded.
