Doubletake Cafe are currently looking for a 1st / 2nd Year Apprentice Chefor casual cook to join our team.
About our Business
We are a small family-owned business, with a close-knit team of 4 kitchen staff and 7 front of house staff. The cafe has been a long-standing part of the Toronto community for nearly 20 years. We are open 7 days a week NO NIGHTS,closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Easter Day each year, with a few early closers here and there for staff celebrations.

Duties will involve
Working closely with our head chef and/or owner on a 4 day working week with a paid tafe day as well. You will be expected to participate and input into the daily running of the kitchen from jumping on the dish to brainstorming monthly specials, keeping up with a busy Sunday morning breakfast to scrubbing walls while thinking of recent menu items, but we will be there with you every step of the way.
