Playford International College is a large, diverse government secondary school in Elizabeth, northern Adelaide, with around 1,400 students. The school's cohort includes 25% receiving IESP funding, 15% identifying as Aboriginal, and 26% from non-English speaking backgrounds. As a Special Interest Music School, it attracts students from both within and outside its local zone.

We are currently looking for a Senior Leader Band B-3 (Whole School Literacy and EALD Interventions) to join our team!
What you will do:
* Lead the ongoing capacity building and development of evidence-based, pedagogical practices through instructional coaching, facilitation and coordination of professional learning, observation of practice, and leadership of learning sprints and professional learning communities
* Leads the English Learning Area, through the active oversight and leadership of effective learning programs, curriculum development aligned to SA Curriculum and SACE, and the management of human, financial, and physical resources
* Lead the development and delivery of best‐practice literacy interventions, where students at all levels are supported to improve their literacy capacity.
