We are currently seeking an Estimator to join our Ormeau branch, QLD
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare accurate cost estimates for dewatering projects, based on client requirements and specifications
* Analyse and interpret project plans and specifications
* Conduct site inspections to assess project requirements and conditions
* Prepare proposals and tender documentation
* Coordinate with other departments, such as operations, sales, and engineering, to ensure project requirements are met
* Provide technical support to clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
* Maintain accurate records of project estimates and related documentation
* Monitor project budgets and schedules to ensure they are on track
* Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in engineering or related field
* Dewatering or Geotechnical experience
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Knowledge of project management principles and practices
* Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
