About the Opportunity
Deliver high-quality teaching and undertake independent research in Anthropology, with expertise relevant to Aboriginal Australia (e.g. Native Title, health, social surrounds), contributing to curriculum development and student supervision at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
You will be responsible for developing a strong research profile with national recognition, publishing in leading peer-reviewed journals, and actively seeking research funding from competitive agencies, industry, and government partners.
The ideal candidate will contribute to the collegial and inclusive culture of the School, engaging with industry, community, and educational stakeholders to enhance teaching and research programs, and support the University's commitment to diversity, inclusion, and community engagement.
* Develop and implement innovative teaching approaches, assessment and materials for units and courses in Anthropology.
* Conduct original research in Anthropology, with a focus on Aboriginal Australia, and publish findings in reputable academic outlets.
* Seek and secure external funding to support research projects and initiatives.
