Role Summary
We are seeking a talented Commis Chef to join our team at Mantra Club Croc, located in the beautiful Whitsundays region of North Queensland. As a Commis Chef, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and present high-quality dishes that meet property standards and are served within designated timeframes.
* Maintain strict adherence to local health, safety, and compliance regulations, with a strong understanding of HACCP management principles.
* Ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency in food preparation, including tasks such as dishwashing and cooking.
* Receive ongoing training and guidance from senior chefs to continually develop your skills and knowledge.
About You
* Certified in commercial cookery with a strong background in kitchen operations.
* Possess a safe food handling certificate or food safety supervisor qualification.
* Demonstrate a passion for food, creativity, and teamwork, with a willingness to learn and grow.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
