We're looking for a passionate and commercially minded Business Development Executive to join our team and take ownership of the Cairns Southterritory. You'll drive growth, distribution, and brand presence across our multi-beverage portfolio in the on-premise channel, building strong customer partnerships and delivering standout execution.
This is a fixed-term, 12-month role.
Key Accountabilities
* Achieve financial sales and execution targets through the sale of Asahi Beverages' multi-beverage portfolio.
* Sell in business initiatives, trading terms and pricing, while maintaining compliance standards.
* Build, maintain targeted sales drivers in store, and maximise ROI on spend and initiatives.
* Monitor execution metrics to identify gaps and opportunities, including structured In Trade Outlet Surveys (ITOS).
* Build long-term relationships with customers by understanding their business drivers and needs.
* Maximise time with customers to up-sell, cross-sell and strengthen brand presence.
* Review outlet performance to identify opportunities and obstacles to growth.
* Maintain real-time CRM reporting and accurate customer information.
* Drive your own development by deepening your commercial and product knowledge, understanding industry trends, and role-modelling CUB's values in everything you do.
About You
* Previous sales experience, ideally in an on-premise field sales role.
* Current full driver's licence and valid RSA.
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to exceed sales targets using a structured, data‑driven approach.
* Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
* Strong numeric, analytical and problem‑solving ability.
* Highly organised with great time management and territory planning skills.
* Proven ability to build lasting customer relationships and work both independently and as part of a team.
* Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM/sales management systems.
