About The Role

As a Physiotherapist, you will deliver and develop high-quality, evidence-based, client-centred physiotherapy services within a multidisciplinary team. The role includes providing teaching, supervision, and support to less experienced staff and undergraduate students, while also managing designated portfolios and contributing to quality improvement initiatives aligned with the Barwon Health Strategic Plan and Physiotherapy Business Plan.

Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership within the service, contribute to committees, policy development, and guide others in line with Barwon Health values and frameworks.Independently manage a clinical caseload, deliver evidence-based care, evaluate outcomes, and ensure all work meets professional, organisational, and consumer standards.Foster multidisciplinary collaboration, mentor and supervise junior staff and students, and promote inclusive, culturally safe practice.Engage in lifelong learning, maintain clinical expertise, participate in research and service improvement, and adhere to professional, ethical, and legal standards.

What We’re Looking For

Current AHPRA registration with demonstrated independent practice and sufficient experience to contribute to the development of others.Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships, resolve conflict, influence, and facilitate open discussions.Proficiency with IT systems and ability to work independently or collaboratively in an inclusive, culturally safe manner.Ongoing professional development, reflective practice, and alignment with Barwon Health values of respect, compassion, accountability, and innovation.
