At Brimarco, we design and build specialised trailers and vehicles used across Australia by government, emergency services and industry — from mobile medical clinics and command centres to libraries, specialist trailers and other highly customised units.
For almost 50 years, our Ballarat workshop has delivered these projects, tailored to each client's needs. Our facility allows us to build complete vehicles and trailers on-site, giving the team the opportunity to be involved in projects from early fabrication through to final fit-out and delivery.
Each project is different, and our team enjoys the challenge of turning complex concepts into practical, high-quality vehicles through hands-on craftsmanship, problem-solving and collaboration.
With several exciting projects about to begin and a strong pipeline of work ahead, we're expanding our team and hiring for multiple permanent full-time positions. We are looking for people who enjoy practical work, tackling real challenges and being part of a skilled team that takes pride in what they create.

About Our Team
Our team includes experienced fabricators, vehicle body builders and other skilled tradespeople who enjoy the challenge of custom builds. Because each project is unique or produced in small numbers, the work involves problem-solving, collaboration and practical thinking as each vehicle takes shape.
The Role

Our projects involve fabrication, assembly, fit-out and installation work. Because every unit is different, the role offers variety and the opportunity to be involved in builds from start to finish.
One week you might be fabricating structural components, the next fitting out interiors, installing equipment, or helping solve the practical challenges that come with building complex, one-off vehicles.
We're open to applicants from a range of backgrounds — experienced vehicle body builders, fabricators, mechanics, tradespeople from related industries, or practical people who simply like building things and want to learn something new.
For the right person, there are opportunities to take on additional responsibility or leadership roles as our team continues to grow.
