Principal / Senior Civil & Structural Engineer position based in Mackay, with travel to Brisbane, Gladstone and client sites. Full-time, permanent.
Role details
Our client is seeking a Principal or Senior Civil / Structural Engineer to join their Mackay office. This role will lead civil and structural design delivery across mining and heavy industrial projects, while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with clients and project teams.
Responsibilities
Lead civil and structural design delivery across mining and heavy industrial projects.
Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with clients and project teams.
Produce drawings, specifications and reports.
Provide geotechnical data interpretation support.
Liaise with clients and deliver tailored solutions.
Mentor and manage junior engineers.
Essential qualifications & skills
Degree in Civil Engineering (BEng or equivalent)
RPEQ or CPEng registration (or in progress)
Strong design software skills (AutoCAD, SPACE GASS, Prokon)
Mining & heavy industrial infrastructure experience
Leadership & mentoring capability
