Are you a passionate storyteller who wants to use their skills for good? Bendigo Foodshare is looking for a dynamic Communications Officer to help share our story and amplify the impact of our work across the community.
In this role, you'll support our marketing and fundraising appeals, helping to capture and share the stories of the people, partners and volunteers who make our work possible. You'll enjoy working with words, have an eye for a great photo, and feel at home creating content for social media and other communication channels.
This is a hands‐on role for someone who is creative, organised and motivated by purpose.

The Communications Officer is a part-time role (0.6-0.8FTE) offered on an ongoing basis.
This role is all about supporting the Community Relations Manager across a wide variety of functions associated with fundraising, communications and marketing, to support achievement of Bendigo Foodshare's overall fundraising and community engagement goals.
You'll:
* Assist in the delivery of a communications and marketing strategy across all channels.
* Assist with implementation of Bendigo Foodshare's annual fundraising plan.
The Fun Stuff
This role will include identifying, capturing and sharing stories through all channels, including social media, website and e-newsletters.
About You
You're passionate about communication and able to work with different stakeholders. You bring:
* Demonstrated skills in marketing, communications, fundraising or equivalent experience.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* The ability to connect with diverse groups.
* Strong organisational skills and tech confidence (MS Office, social media platforms, Canva, Mailchimp, WordPress).
* A valid driver's licence, Working with Children Check, and Police Check.
Experience with volunteers is a bonus!
