* Perform specialised imaging within the Cardiac Catheter Lab and Radiology to support routine and emergency cardiac interventions.
* Provide expert imaging support for complex procedures using advanced intravascular technologies including IVUS, OCT and iFR/FFR.
* Maintain radiation safety and equipment compliance, ensuring safe practice, accuracy and workflow efficiency across the unit.
* Deliver technical expertise during procedures, supporting cardiologists and the broader care team in high‑pressure clinical environments.
* Mentor and guide junior staff, contributing to capability development and the overall growth of the imaging service.

To be the right fit for this role, you will have:
* Key personal qualities, including exceptional attention to detail, active listening, strong communication, organisational skills, adaptability, and a commitment to patient safety.
* Relevant skills and qualifications, including AHPRA registration, an NSW EPA Radiation User Licence, a Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science or equivalent, and experience in angiography/interventional cardiology with technical expertise in IVUS, OCT and iFR.
* A desire to work in a specialised Cardiac Cath Lab environment, with exposure to advanced imaging technology and involvement in life‑saving interventional cardiac procedures.
* Capability to deliver high‑quality imaging services, maintaining radiation safety, ensuring equipment compliance, providing technical support during procedures and contributing to mentoring and skill development within the team.
* Flexibility to meet service needs, including working full‑time on a rotating roster with weekends, public holidays, on‑call requirements and adaptability within rostered hours.
Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.
* Current AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) as a Medical Radiation Practitioner Diagnostic Radiography. Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science or equivalent. Hold a valid NSW EPA Radiation User Licence.
* Proven experience in Interventional medical imaging with expertise in cardiac imaging or interventional radiology.
* Demonstrated service delivery experience and effective prioritisation and organisation of workload in a complex clinical setting.
* Demonstrated high level interpersonal communication and leadership skills applied to a patient environment as well as vendor relationships.
* Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
