Job Summary
A Landscape Worker is responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, securing plants, and performing various lawn maintenance tasks.
* Assist with landscape construction projects
* Tie and secure plants to ensure stability
* Weed, prune and trim trees and plants to maintain a healthy appearance
* Cut grass to desired length
* Rake and collect refuse from the work area
* Remove litter and garbage to keep the site clean
* Transport and spread topsoil and other materials as needed
* Lay sod or seed new lawns
* Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees in designated areas
* Apply fertilizers to promote plant growth
* Repair and maintain equipment to ensure efficient operation
* Write daily reports detailing progress and accomplishments
* Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens to ensure optimal health
* Operate and maintain various landscape maintenance equipment
* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
* Previous experience is an asset
* The ideal candidate will possess excellent client focus, flexibility, organization, teamwork, punctuality and a strong work ethic
