Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure adherence to service quality standards, health and safety policies, and procedures for delivering high-quality services.
* Fulfill the responsibilities of this role in accordance with the Queensland Public Sector values as outlined above.
Leadership Role:
* Provide strategic direction, expert advice, and leadership to senior Queensland Health Executives, including the Minister for Health, Mental Health and Ambulance Services, and the Director-General, Deputy Directors-General, Health Service Chief Executives, and eHealth Queensland to identify priorities and coordinate strategies to improve healthcare quality and access.
* Lead and direct complex digital projects that deliver timely and effective healthcare services with a focus on value-based care, emergency services, and specialist services using digital and virtual healthcare solutions that enhance safety, efficiency, and quality in healthcare delivery.
Requirements:
* Demonstrate high-level knowledge and experience in providing sensitive and complex high-level advice and support to executives.
* Develop strong management and supervisory skills and demonstrate the ability to lead and manage projects effectively.
* Have a deep understanding of Hospital and Health Services operations and Virtual models of care with the ability to apply this knowledge strategically and lead accordingly.
* Demonstrate the ability to engage stakeholders, negotiate, and respond to Queensland Health expectations effectively.
