This is an exciting opportunity to step into a temporary part‐time Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) role within the Liverpool Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit(NICU).Liverpool NICU is a busy tertiary‐level unit caring for some of the most vulnerable babies and families in South Western Sydney.
Education
As a CNE, you will play a pivotal role in supporting clinical excellence, staff development and education, working closely with the Nurse Manager, NUMs, medical colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team. The role provides the opportunity to:
* Support and deliver education, training and competency development for nursing and midwifery staff across all levels
* Focus on education, mentoring and workforce development
* Contribute to a positive learning culture that promotes safe, evidence‐based neonatal care
* Support new staff, graduates and developing clinicians as they grow confidence and capability in the NICU environment
* Participate in quality improvement, guideline implementation and practice review aligned with local and statewide priorities
* Work collaboratively within a highly skilled, supportive and committed neonatal team

This temporary part‐time position is well suited to an experienced neonatal nurse who is passionate about education, mentoring and workforce development, and who is looking to broaden their leadership and educator experience in a dynamic tertiary NICU setting.

Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.
* Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a post graduate qualification in a relevant clinical field or education post graduate qualification or a combination of education training and clinical experience deemed appropriate by SWSLHD.
* Describe your experience in supporting education and professional development in a neonatal setting
* Provide an example of how you have contributed to improving clinical practice, education or quality of care in NICU.
