We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator to support our maritime construction and manufacturing project in South Australia.
The ideal candidate will have experience in reviewing engineering design requirements, understanding shipbuilding codes and technical specifications, identifying potential suppliers, and conducting pre-qualification reviews of manufacturers and suppliers.

Responsibilities
* Review and analyse engineering design requirements for naval applications, including electrical systems and mechanical components.
* Understand and interpret shipbuilding codes, technical specifications, and industry standards.
* Identify and assess potential suppliers, including their products, services, and quality management systems.
* Conduct thorough pre-qualification reviews of manufacturers and suppliers to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
* Participate in on-site supplier assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of quality management systems and product quality.
About You
* Must be an Australian citizen with NV1 Security Clearance eligibility.
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with eligibility for Engineers Australia membership.
* Strong knowledge of systems and technologies relevant to Australian shipbuilding.
* Commercial acumen and negotiation skills to effectively manage supplier relationships.
* Ability to prioritise and set work standards, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in Defence shipbuilding industry an advantage.
