The Role
This is a well-rounded Senior role where you’ll take ownership of your work, manager workflow, support the team, and play a key part in keeping everything running smoothly.
You’ll be known as a go-to person for quality compliance, work closely with clients and lead a small team. Assist in delivering high-quality tax and advisory services while mentoring others and influencing the direction of the firm.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and inspire a small, high-performing team
* Manage workflow, budgets, and deadlines with confidence
* Review and prepare tax compliance (EOFY, BAS, FBT, Tax planning)
* Provide practical, value-adding advice across tax and business advisory
* Build strong, trusted relationships with clients
* Ensure quality, accuracy, and best-practice standards across all work
* Contribute to a collaborative, improvement-focused team culture
About You
* 4+ years’ experience in Australian public practice
* CA or CPA qualified
* Strong technical tax knowledge (Income Tax, CGT, GST, FBT, etc.)
* Proven leadership or mentoring experience
* Confident communicator with a proactive mindset
* A forward-thinking attitude with a genuine desire to grow and lead
* Detail orientened and well organised
* Experience with SMSFs? That’s a bonus!
