Salary: AUD99911 - AUD per annum
Key Responsibilities
Shall include, but not be limited to:
Lead, guide, develop and mentor Procurement Operations team members.
Review, develop and drive best practice procurement procedures and strategies.
Identify, promote and drive cost saving reductions
Ensure the processing of purchase requisitions and the delivery of goods received is performed in accordance with purchasing procedures and Councils Procurement Policy.
Essential Experience & Skills
Robust experience in purchasing goods and services in a multi-disciplined organisation.
Ability to lead, delegate and supervise a team.
Extensive previous use of Corporate Purchasing Software.
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport and effective working relationships, teamed with the ability to communicate appropriately both verbally and in writing.
