Job Summary
The Front of House Staff member is the face of our establishment, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Guest Service & Interaction:
* Warmly greet guests upon arrival and thank them upon departure.
* Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements (Host/Hostess duty).
* Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system (Server/Bartender duty).
* Serve food and drinks promptly, following all service standards.
* Answer guest inquiries regarding menu items, ingredients, and the establishment.
* Address customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy, escalating issues to management when necessary.
* Operations & Maintenance:
* Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized dining area, service stations, and restrooms.
* Set, clear, and re-set tables efficiently throughout the shift (Busser/Runner duty).
* Assist with opening and closing duties, including stocking supplies, preparing the dining room, and light cleaning.
* Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and process payments.
* Liaise effectively with the Back of House (kitchen) team to ensure seamless service flow.
* Knowledge & Compliance:
* Maintain thorough menu knowledge, including daily specials, preparation methods, and potential allergens.
* Adhere to all local health, safety, and hygiene standards, including responsible alcohol service practices.

* Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $24.95 – $32.00 per hour
