Pearl Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our globally recognised client, an emerging industry leader in delivering innovative technical solutions to the mining and industrial sectors. As part of their strategic expansion into Western Australia, we are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Technical Sales Representative to join their team in a remote role based in WA.
This opportunity is ideal for a driven professional with a solid background in managing the full technical sales cycle. You will play a key role in helping our client establish and grow their presence in the region, working closely with customers to understand their operational needs and deliver tailored, value-driven solutions.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire sales process. This includes identifying and engaging new prospects, preparing proposals, presenting technical solutions, securing sales, and providing ongoing post-sale support. You will work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term success.
Regular travel throughout Western Australia is required to attend client meetings, conduct in office product demonstrations, and support broader business development activities.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Promote and sell technical products and services to both new and existing customers
- Identify and engage prospective clients across relevant industries
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers
- Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations, both remotely and on-site
- Work closely with engineering teams to develop customised solutions
- Negotiate and close sales aligned with customer requirements
- Keep accurate records using CRM software (ZOHO – training provided)
- Provide technical support, training, and follow-up after the sale
- Assist with product implementation and troubleshooting
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in technical sales, ideally in the mining industry
- Ability to clearly explain technical products to non-technical customers
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and confident working independently from a remote location
- Willing and able to travel regularly
- Hands-on aptitude for demonstrating and applying technical products
- Experience using CRM systems; familiarity with ZOHO is an advantage
