Salary: $60,000-$65,000 per annum
* 6 Weeks leave + 17.5% leave loading

The position of Team Leader, Housekeeping assumes overall responsibility for to the day-to-day cleaning operation to ensure the buildings and surrounding areas of the TDC Accommodation Village are clean and safe for people to live and work in. In addition to undertaking cleaning tasks, the Team leader has a strong coaching, supervising, mentoring, and training role to increase the ability and capacity of local housekeepers.
About You:
* 2 years’ experience in similar housekeeping role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to interact sensitively and positively with indigenous people
* Display leadership, coaching and mentoring skills to develop and support a team
* Ability to be flexible, multi-task and problem solve to ensure high quality delivery of service
* High level of self-motivation and the ability to identify, prioritise and complete needed tasks without direct supervision
* Good knowledge of and commitment to safe working practices
* Possess physical ability to walk, bend, push, pull, lift repetitively for lengthy periods
* Excellent organisational and time management skills are essential
* Chemical Handling / Storage certificate or willingness to complete
Essential Licences / Clearances prior to commencement
* Manual Drivers Licence (Class C NT)
* National Police check
* NLC Work / Resident permits (with assistance)
