My client is a global leader in rotating equipment and engineered process solutions. They are expanding their Energy & Infrastructure division and seeking a high-performing Sales Engineer to build and grow key relationships across major energy operators nationally.
This is a newly created role with real influence, strong technical depth and long-term career growth. Based in Brisbane (or Perth for the right person), you'll drive opportunities across oil & gas, LNG, petrochemical and power generation markets.
What you'll be doing
• Growing market share across QLD and WA energy customers
• Developing new business with major operators
• Managing long-term strategic accounts
• Delivering technical, solution-based selling
• Working with applications, engineering and service teams
• Providing accurate forecasting and CRM reporting
• Supporting demonstrations and field-based trials
What you must bring
• Proven sales success in the energy sector
• Strong networks across major energy operators
• Experience selling pumps, compressors, rotating equipment or similar mechanical/process equipment
• Commercial sharpness + confidence dealing with technical stakeholders
Ideal background
• Mechanical trade or technical sales
• Pump systems into oil & gas/energy
• Compressors, pneumatics or rotating equipment
• Industrial equipment servicing EPCs and energy operators
What you won't be right for
• Water/wastewater or mining-only pump experience
• Motor/turbine backgrounds
