About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Accounts Administrator to join our Kalgoorlie-based team. This is a key leadership role, reporting to our Executive Accountant.
As the go-to person for all things finance and administration, you'll manage our dedicated admin team and take ownership of accounting functions across the business - you'll be responsible for the oversight of accounts payable, receivable, and payroll administration functions -ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead day-to-day accounts payable and receivable operations
* Supervise bank, credit card, and petty cash reconciliations
* Oversee monthly payment runs and ensure creditor account accuracy
* Manage debtor collections and support customer account resolution
* Provide mentorship and oversight to junior accounts team members
* Review, verify, and authorise high-value invoicing and account setups
* Support internal reporting and reconciliation for management reviews
* Coordinate general office administration and workflow within the finance team
* Support internal and external audit requirements and filing systems
* Promote compliance with company policies and financial procedures
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 5 years' experience in accounts administration
* At least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience
* Formal qualification in Accounting, Finance or similar (Cert IV or above)
* Strong knowledge of accounting procedures and reconciliations
* Advanced MS Excel and Word skills
* High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
* Current "C" Class WA Driver's Licence
