Primarily based in Melbourne, the position supports MCG portfolios with both industry-specialised and diversified customer portfolios. You will bring specialist expertise to originate new-to-bank opportunities, and support our existing clients, with appropriate transaction banking solutions for their working capital and cash-flow management needs.You will provide fresh thinking and expertise in key critical areas of our clients’ businesses being working capital management with evolving and innovative transaction banking solutions; and industry insights to help our clients navigate changing market conditions.Do work that mattersYou will identify and pursue new business opportunities across multiple transaction banking solutions (including Cash Management, Online Banking Platform: CommBiz, Merchant Solutions: Merchant Terminals and eCommerce, BPAY, Direct Debit, Corporate Cards and Partnerships) with all Business Banking clients with turnover greater than $150m,Developing close working relationships with key clients of high complexity and your internal stakeholders, you will use your ability to understand business requirements to provide innovative transaction banking solutions.More specifically, you willProactively build a pipeline of new and existing transaction banking opportunitiesHave a deep understanding of our transaction banking product offerings, and provide innovative solutions to clientsEngage with relationship teams to review transaction banking performance and initiatives to ensure opportunities are being identified and pursuedProvide support, coaching and education to bankersWhat are we looking for?You are an excellent communicator – you have the ability to distil complex requirements down to simple solutions to surprise and delight your clienteleYou’re someone that is passionate about networking and executing new business opportunitiesSuccess in this role will come from a background in customer service, sales & business development and a drive to develop a solid understanding of our transaction banking value propositionYou work with pace – managing and delivering on multiple priorities and projects with efficiency and accuracyTo help us deliver a better future, you will haveA successful track record of driving business opportunitiesA well-developed local network, commercial sales acumen and forward thinking ideasStrong negotiation skills and a passion for delivering exceptional client serviceMotivation, accountability and the ability to build lasting business relationshipsTechnical aptitude and knowledge of the payment industryCuriosity to get to know your clients' business objectives to deliver timely and professional solutionsThis is an outstanding opportunity to continue to build your brand and your career in a growing and successful business.
