Role Description
This is a freelance remote role for a Civil 3D or 12D Draftsperson with the opportunity to play a big part in waste management infrastructure developments. The Draftsperson will be responsible for preparing concept to detailed 2D and 3D drawings, creating earthwork models, preparing civil designs and producing construction documentation. The role requires working closely with project engineers and design teams to ensure project requirements are met efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate must be detail‐oriented, able to manage deadlines effectively, and skilled in using Civil 3D or 12D software to deliver high‐quality technical outputs.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in drafting and modeling using Civil 3D or 12D software
* Experience in preparing civil engineering drawings, including roads, utilities, and drainage systems
* Attention to detail and strong technical drawing skills
* Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and specifications
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross‐functional teams
* Self‐motivated and capable of meeting deadlines in a remote work environment
* Formal qualifications or training in civil drafting or engineering‐related fields are preferred
* Familiarity with landfill, waste transfer stations, along with Australian standards and guidelines for civil engineering projects is a plus
