Our Communications team is seeking a Community Consultation Officer. Purpose The Community Consultation Officer works closely with relevant internal staff to develop, implement and evaluate effective community engagement plans to enable the community to have a say on Council projects and to help Council officers best use community knowledge and experience to improve their projects. About The Role Develop and implement effective and targeted community engagement strategies that help improve Council's projects, policies and plans. Write effective copy for communication and consultation material across a variety of mediums including print, digital and social channels. Provide administration support for Council's Precinct system including all administrative tasks, communication and direct support for Precinct Executives. About You Tertiary qualifications in arts, communications, social sciences or a related discipline with experience in related positions. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications skills. Excellent organisational skills including time management and demonstrated experience in project management.
