This role will be responsible for managing the SMIF Warehouses (Ringwood, Yarraville, and satellite stores) and identifying and delivering field operational improvements that will reduce the cost to service and will improve efficiencies in the delivery of works.
The warehouse manager within the SMIF Group is responsible for supporting the field employees through the efficient supply of materials, tools, and equipment
**This role will report to the SMIF Field Manager and is located at Melbourne, Victoria.**

**What you will deliver**
- Working with the Operational Managers and Supervisors to identify opportunities for improvements and to ensure a consistent approach to the use of materials for all activities across the broader group.
- Reducing the SKU lines to the essential products required for each contract (marking redundant lines, utilising pre-builds and kits to minimise individual items).
- Provision of compliant materials to support the SMIF contracts based on MRWA and Watermark Databases.
- Maintain stock level integrity through accurate stock control, cyclic counts, and investigations of any inaccuracies and annual stocktakes, of main stores and satellite stores.
- Support non-SMIF Mondo logístical requirements as needed. (Predominantly Contestable Metering).
- Developing an efficient and cost-effective model for delivering re-instatement supplies and collecting spoil.
- Manage asset register software.
**What we like about you**

- Certificate II - Storage, Distribution and Warehouse Operations preferred but not a requirement.
- Strong relationship building skills demonstrated by effectively influencing employees and key stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in financial analysis and identification of operational improvements.
- Strong customer focus and negotiation skills
- Previous experience in Warehouse Management
**Salary**: $71,383.14 - $106,178.14 per year
