Senior Hydraulic Engineer – Perth Buildings Group
We are looking for a qualified candidate to lead a diverse range of projects, with Hydraulic design consultancy experience within the building services sector.
Responsibilities
* Develop hydraulic building services designs, including water supply, sewerage, stormwater, and gas systems.
* Lead client‐facing project delivery from concept through to construction, ensuring high‐quality outcomes and strong stakeholder satisfaction.
* Prepare technical documentation, calculations, assessments, specifications, and tender packages for a variety of building projects.
* Conduct site inspections, defect reporting, and respond to RFIs during construction.
* Prioritise workloads whilst ensuring our clients' needs are met.
* Continuously build and develop your professional profile across WA.
* Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, Building Codes, and client specifications.
* Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* Degree‐qualified in an engineering discipline (RPEQ or QBCC).
* 7 years of hydraulic building services work experience within the consulting or engineering industry.
* Strong self‐management skills and a proven ability to prioritise and multitask.
* Well‐connected within the industry and able to foster client relationships.
* Technically proficient in the key elements of hydraulic engineering design and construction.
* Ability to make quality business decisions and deliver high‐profile projects in a timely manner.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
