Our client is a family-owned mortgage brokerage with 26 years' experience in commercial and residential finance. Due to long term sustained growth, the Director is looking for Credit Analyst to manage the end-to-end application process for their valued clients and that's where you fit in.

The Credit Analyst plays a vital role in the client's broker experience via the service they provide to their client's and working with the team and you will be reporting to the Director, and you'll provide a seamless home loan experience for their customers. The role supports customers by managing the back of house home loan process whilst simultaneously seamlessly guiding their clients from application to settlement.

What you will do:
* Understand and manage the end-to-end process for home loan applications and manage the post approval process.
* Evaluate creditworthiness of loan applications by analysing financial statements, credit reports, tax returns, and other relevant documents.
* Prepare and/or oversee credit submissions for new home loan applications, and coordination of deal execution through to final approval and eventual funding.
* Provide exceptional customer service to borrowers and respond to inquiries related to loan status and documentation.
* Communicate with loan officers, assessors/underwriters, and other stakeholders including solicitors, conveyancers etc. to meet established timelines.
* Ensure residential loan applications are complete and accurate, including loan application forms, property valuation reports, and other required documents.
* Ensure home loan applications are complete and accurate, including loan application forms, property valuation reports, lodging pricing approvals and other required documents.
* Prepare credit submissions for new home loan applications and ensuring all data entry reflects information from source documents including the completion of online calculators e.g. Servicing and LMI Calculators.
* Ensuring all applications are submitted within risk and compliance frameworks e.g., N.C.C.P and B.I.D.
What you will have:
* Minimum 2-3 years' Banking or Finance experience as a Credit Analyst/Lending Associate/Lending Support Officer/Loan Writer or similar role in the mortgage or lending industry with strong knowledge in Home Loans.
* Be process driven and an ability to handle/manage multiple applications simultaneously.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple loan applications simultaneously.
* Confidence over the phone and ability to build rapport quickly.
* Strong ability to communicate (both written and verbal) with customers, loan officers, assessors/underwriters, solicitors/lawyers as well Lender BDM's.
* A high level of professionalism as well as being well organised.
