We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to drive strategic change in our organisation.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving organisational outcomes. They will possess excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and influencing skills, and be able to represent the organisation in decision-making forums.
The role requires a strong analytical skillset, including the ability to provide evidence-based advice to support decision making. The successful candidate will also have a relevant tertiary qualification and at least 8-10 years' experience in law, economics, public policy or related fields.
As a key member of our team, you will play an active stewardship role by contributing to the success of your peers, accepting and demonstrating collective responsibility for the success of the organisation, engaging constructively to support corporate initiatives and policies, and balancing local and broader agency priorities to seek the best outcomes for the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
* Represent the organisation, manage strategic engagement activities with key industry, stakeholder and consumer organisations.
* Oversee projects and activities, including planning, monitoring, reporting, research and analysis.
* Exercise judgement under pressure to decide the right course of action in challenging and complex scenarios where information is not always complete.
* Effectively and proactively manage cultural change.
* Play an active stewardship role by contributing to the success of your peers, accepting and demonstrating collective responsibility for the success of the organisation, engaging constructively to support corporate initiatives and policies, and balancing local and broader agency priorities to seek the best outcomes for the organisation.

About You:
* You will have a proven ability to achieve organisational outcomes, build organisational capability and manage risk to ensure government objectives are achieved.
* You will have high-level management and leadership skills (including intellectual leadership) and superior people-management skills, including supporting learning and capability development.
* You will have excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and influencing skills, including the ability to represent and negotiate on behalf of the organisation.
* You will have a proven ability to engage constructively to support corporate initiatives and policies, building relationships across an organisation and balancing local and broader agency priorities to seek the best outcomes for the organisation.
* You will have high-level analytical skills including the capacity to provide evidence-based advice to support decision making.
* You will have an outstanding track record in leading and delivering high-quality advice in a complex and sensitive environment, including adopting innovative approaches to difficult issues as appropriate.
* You will have relevant technical skills relating to the role (see above section regarding specific skills and experience required for each role).
* You will have a relevant tertiary qualification combined with at least 8-10 years' post-qualifications experience in law, economics, public policy or related fields.
