About the Role This is an international bank, nimble enough to act, but big enough for impact.
Seeking a Director to lead and expand the Real Estate business in Australia.
This is a pivotal time to join the Australian franchise.
Identified as a key growth area within the global strategy, with a strategic plan to increase the business, with a focus on driving revenue.
Client Focus : Primarily Institutional Property clients, Financial Sponsors, and Global Corporates, plugging them into the Bank's regional and global network.
Asset Class : Broad remit including data centres for top-tier names.
Key Responsibilities
Origination & Execution : Formulate business strategy and execute origination to identify transactions and cross-sell opportunities.
You must be able to originate and execute end-to-end, with a deep understanding of documentation and financing structures.
Structuring : Deliver well-structured, returns-accretive, and risk-optimal financing solutions.
Engage with senior stakeholders to structure loans, bonds, and financing risk solutions.
Leadership : Build trusted relationships with Promoters, C-Suite, and Sponsors.
Lead by example to build the appropriate culture and values within the team.
About You We are looking for a candidate who understands the dynamics of working for an international bank and can navigate international working hours.
Experience : Minimum 8 years in a commercial or investment banking role focused on Commercial Real Estate.
Background : Ideally from an international bank.
We are open to candidates from the buy-side, funds, or domestic banks if you can demonstrate a track record of working with top-tier names and complex transactions.
Technical Skills : Strong understanding of primary credit markets, valuation, and risk assessment.
Solid financial evaluation and Excel abilities are essential.
Attributes : Strong work ethic, detail-oriented, and able to deliver under time pressure.
