An opportunity exists for a Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) Officer to join a dynamic team in Joondalup. This role is pivotal in maintaining safety, compliance, and environmental standards across multiple workshops and showrooms in the Perth Metro region. The position offers attractive working hours, a supportive team culture, and ongoing on-the-job training to set you up for success.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain the HSEQ Management System, including policies, procedures, registers, and documentation
* Facilitate regular safety meetings and conduct safety inspections
* Collect and report environmental performance data
* Coordinate and manage yearly external audits
* Oversee the mobilisation and induction of new employees
* Maintain employee and contractor certifications, licences, and insurances
* Schedule trade contractors for jobs
* Support HR activities such as interviewing, performance management, and offboarding
Working Hours
* Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
* Friday: 7:00 am - 1:00 pm
Qualifications & Experience
* Diploma in Work Health & Safety or similar
* Current driver's licence
* Right to work in Australia
* Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar HSEQ role
