Assistant Product Manager

**About the Role**
As an Assistant Product Manager within Product Team, you will be reporting into the Senior Product Manager - Monitoring, Analysis and Insights. You will provide regular product management reports (membership, FUM, Investment Performance, fees), ensure compliance with regulatory product reporting requirements and conduct ongoing and ad hoc database analysis and insights to support product management and development. Additionally, you will assist other departments with product-related queries, such as fund performance comparisons.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Monitor and report on product function regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., DDO, SIS Act, RIC, SPS250, Member Outcomes, APRA Reporting).
- Support internal stakeholders (e.g., Marketing, Workplace Services) with product performance and comparison information.
- Manage and develop DDO & Product Dashboards and Reporting.
- Conduct competitive analysis for all products and key attributes, benchmarking against domestic and international trends.
- Align and consolidate product performance reporting for Business Performance Review, Internal reporting, and Annual Report/Annual Member Meeting obligations.
- Manage relationships and reporting with third-party ratings agencies.
- Complete Research House surveys and questionnaires.
- Collaborate with other teams to incorporate insights into shared data pipelines.
- Other responsibilities will include as directed by the Senior Product Manager - Product Monitoring, Analysis and Insights
**Key Selection Criteria**
Analytics and Reporting Experience
- Expertise in handling and analysing large data volumes.
- Proven ability in using tools like Tableau or Power BI for dashboard creation.
- Strong ability to interpret data and provide business-focused recommendations.
Technical Proficiency
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with AWS Redshift, AWS Spectrum, and SQL
Server.
- Proficiency in Python/R and data visualization tools.
Professional Skills
- Degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related fields.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Very Organised and good with time management
- Good communication and presentation abilities.
Stakeholder Management
- Experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Strong skills in stakeholder communication and conflict resolution.
