About the Role
Fulltime position, Monday‑Friday, afternoon shift. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will manage a team of up to 10 people and organise, supervise and control all work activity relating to receival, replenishment, assembly, loading and delivery of products, ensuring accuracy and product integrity is maintained. This is a physical position with some heavy lifting.
Duties
* Maintain all equipment service and maintenance schedules.
* Coach, mentor and execute performance management as required.
* Control and reduce warehouse expenses by minimising damages, wastage and overtime.
* Liaise with the Operations Manager regarding labour requirements and work process changes.
* Promote safe working procedures and ensure policies are implemented and adhered to.
Skills and Experience
* Current forklift licence (essential).
* Proven experience in warehousing and distribution management and inventory control.
* Exceptional time management and communication skills.
* Computer literacy, including the ability to quickly learn internal systems.
* Experience managing rosters and resources within budget constraints.
* An understanding of HACCP, WHS and HR.
* Able to provide leadership and motivation to a team.
