The Role
The Data Analyst will play a key role in supporting the eCommerce and digital marketing strategy by analysing inventory data and providing insights into FMCG and product-related trends, helping drive best-practice, data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
Autonomously collect, analyse, and interpret marketing and eCommerce performance data.
Independently identify and highlight anomalies, opportunities, and risks in marketing or customer data.
Recommend adjustments to marketing strategies or tactics based on data-driven insights, subject to sign-off by the Head of eCommerce or Digital Marketing Manager.
Maintain and update dashboards, performance reports, and analytics tools with current and accurate data.
Manage access and configuration for data sources (e.g. GA4, Power BI, Magento reports), ensuring alignment with data governance practices.
Provide guidance to marketing, eCommerce, and creative teams based on data insights, influencing channel strategies and digital experience enhancements.
Skills & Experience Required
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst delivering data insights and analytics within FMCG, product and inventory improving business based decision making.
Solid understanding of digital marketing and eCommerce metrics and levers.
Proficiency with analytics tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), Power BI, SQL, and Excel.
Understanding of customer segmentation, attribution modelling, and campaign tracking.
Experience with data visualisation tools and dashboard creation.
Experience with Magento, DotDigital, or tag management tools (e.g. GTM) (Desirable).
