Veitch Lister Consulting (VLC) is seeking an experienced operational transport modeller to lead and grow our operational and mesoscopic modelling capability. This role plays a key part in strengthening our mesoscopic modelling offering and embedding it within our broader transport analytics and advisory work.
The position combines senior technical leadership, market engagement, and internal capability development. It is suited to someone who is interested in shaping a specialist service line, contributing beyond project delivery, and influencing how mesoscopic modelling is applied within a consulting environment. Our preference is for this role to be Brisbane based, however we are open to applications from individuals based in Sydney and Melbourne.

* Mentoring team members and contributing to the development of tools, processes, and best practices
* Engaging directly with clients and taking responsibility for delivery, scope, timelines, budgets and risk.
This role offers genuine scope to shape a technical service line, influence how mesoscopic modelling is used for our clients, and build capability across the business.
