About the Role
As the Sales & Logistics Administrator, you'll be a key point of contact for customers, supporting the coordination of their cargo transportation across Australia. Your role will involve understanding customer requirements, preparing accurate quotes and ensuring each shipment runs smoothly from start to finish.
You'll work closely with internal operations teams, contractors and external partners to organise bookings, maintain shipping and customer data, track cargo movements and provide timely updates.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing phone and email enquiries with exceptional customer service
* Assessing transport needs and preparing tailored, accurate quotes
* Identifying and resolving issues, discrepancies or delays
* Maintaining detailed records of bookings, schedules and shipment documentation
* Tracking shipments and providing real-time updates
* Coordinating with internal teams, contractors and freight partners
* Building strong working relationships across the supply chain
What You Need to Succeed
To excel in this role, you'll bring:
* 2 + years experience in sales administration, logistics coordination, customer service or a related field
* Exposure to freight forwarding, shipping, transport or supply chain operations
* Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
* Experience with document control and transport or tracking systems
* Strong organisation and multitasking ability
* Accuracy, attention to detail and confidence working with numbers
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to think on your feet
* Familiarity with CRM or TMS systems (or a willingness to learn)
* A positive, team-orientated attitude
* Full Australian work rights
