THE ROLE
We are looking for an energetic and passionate Pastry & Dessert Chef to join our kitchen team within Doot Doot Doot. Set within a progressive, contemporary restaurant, this role would suit someone with a genuine passion to create food that is delicious and exciting.
* Be responsible for managing the pastry/dessert section
* Assist in menu development, implementing and executing
* Contribute to the smooth running of the kitchen and maintain effective relationships at all times
* Develop new recipes for seasonal menus
* Work closely with Head Chef to create memorable experiences for our guests
REQUIREMENTS:
* Previous experience within a 5-star hotel or similar establishment desirable
* Proven experience in creating recipes, implementing and plating
* Strong communication skills essential
* Ability to work closely with other sections as a positive team member
* Full working rights in Australia
