Senior Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager (Brisbane)
Join AECOM's Program, Cost Consultancy team and provide quantity surveying and cost management services on Queensland's largest and most iconic infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
* Provide quantity surveying and cost management services on both vertical and horizontal infrastructure projects.
* Assist with the development of cost planning and estimating in design phase, quantity measurement from design drawings, cash flow forecasting, construction phase cost management, capital cost advice and life‐cycle costing.
* Collaborate with AECOM's quantity surveyors and multidisciplinary engineers locally and nationally on a wide range of projects.
* Deliver high‐quality technical advice to clients and mentor junior team members.
Qualifications
* Senior QS experience, preferably in a consulting environment with knowledge of Australian standards in Health, Community, Civil Infrastructure and/or Industry sectors.
* Strong commitment, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a deadline‐driven team environment.
* Relevant tertiary education and RPEQ, AIQS, RICS or recognised equivalent.
* Demonstrated skills in managing project costs and budgets, preferably in a client‐facing role.
* Working knowledge of the full MS Suite and medium to high level knowledge of CostX.
