The Supervisor Records reports to the Director, Legal and Assurance within the NSW RFS.
Leading a small team, you will have carriage of information and records management for the RFS. You will work with stakeholders across the RFS in the delivery of information and records management systems and processes that reflect contemporary best practice and fit for purpose, and ensure compliance with records management obligations, including obligations under the State Records Act, and requirements of the State Archives and Records Authority.
- Demonstrated skills as an effective team leader and communicator. You can build your team's capabilities and address any issues of non-performance in a collaborative and constructive way.
- Considerable knowledge and experience in information and records management. You keep on top of emerging issues and trends and implement information management arrangements in line with best practice and statutory obligations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and can build strong and effective partnerships with stakeholders in the delivery of information and records management services.
- Sound judgement and critical thinking capabilities. You are proactive in your approach to problems, and deliver outcomes that are fit for purpose and enhance service delivery.
- Strong organisational skills and can plan and prioritise your work, and the work of your team.
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience is required.
