Key Responsibilities
* Ensures the quality of the final product through testing and manufacturing controls; review and approve final product documentation
* Assists in monitoring, collating, analysing and presenting quality data as it relates to manufacturing processes.
* Initiate or approve non‑conformance reports, lead investigations and manage corrective / preventive actions (CAPAs).
* Raise quality issues on any processes or product which is not conforming to requirements.
* Serve as quality liaison with engineering operations, regulatory and clinical teams for product rollouts and compliance matters.
Education
Bachelor's degree in engineering or the physical sciences.
Skills and Experience
* Ideal candidate in a manufacturing environment in medical devices, pharmaceutical, optics, automotive, aerospace etc. highly regulated industries
* Minimum 4 years quality management experience in MTO quality operations role
* ISO 9001 is highly preferred; ISO 13485 most preferred
* Some experience in NCR process (control of non‑conforming product) communicating with engineers and production team on CAPA process (Corrective and preventive)
* Technical background in mechanical / technical drawings operational quality
* Able to interpret mechanical drawings (GD&T) – nice to have
