About the Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Service Centre Manager to join our friendly, close-knit team in Jandakot, Perth. This exciting role will be responsible for managing the daily operations and performance of the WA Milwaukee Service Centre including the design, scope and implementation of continuous improvements that drive best practice within the centre ensuring daily operational excellence.
Reporting directly to the Head of Service Operations, ANZ you will initially have 2 direct and 14 indirect reports including workshop team leaders, service technicians and workshop logistics administrators.
Your day to day will include:
* Leading, managing and developing the Service Centre to provide industry best practice repair and after sales services, delivering quality, efficiency and value in line with agreed SLAs
* Manage, review and update of repair centre spare parts stock in line with repaired models and products. Resource workshop with required equipment.
* Ensuring appropriate performance standards are maintained, to meet the service standards promised to end users.
* Building and maintaining relationships with all Milwaukee employees to ensure that the Service Centre offering is continually reviewed in order to keep pace with changing end user requirements and expectations.
* Providing management with input into various service reporting requirements and provide analysis of performance against KPIs/ metrics.
* Complete workforce planning to ensure the service centre is appropriately resourced for future capacity.
* Maintaining the Service Centre in line with company guidelines (WH&S, HR policies, appropriate internal controls, etc).
About YOU
To ensure success in this role you will have strong people management experience ideally within an industrial repair and or manufacturing or service/warranty environment. You are driven to succeed and have a proven background in leading a team to ensure operational excellence. In addition, you will have the following skills/attributes:
* Mechanical/technical aptitude or hands‐on experience within a service and repair environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders
* The ability to drive / influence positive change across internal and external stakeholders.
* Ability to coach, mentor and develop a team
* Strong analytical skills and a drive to achieve continuous improvements and efficiencies.
* Passion, dedication, and commitment with a great attitude that embraces a positive work culture and a healthy work ethic.
* Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word and Excel, SAP (or similar ERP/CRM)
