About the Role As a Casual In-Home Cleaner at Challenger, you'll play a key role in supporting elderly residents by providing high-quality cleaning services that help them feel comfortable and cared for in their own homes. This hands-on role is ideal for someone committed to maintaining high safety standards and delivering consistent, outstanding service. You'll be supported with full training and work as part of a team that values respect, compassion, and quality. Key Duties: Carry out routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitising bathrooms and kitchens, and removing rubbish. Adjust cleaning techniques to suit individual homes while respecting the participant’s space and privacy. Approach every situation with empathy, care, and discretion. Use cleaning products safely and comply with workplace health and safety (WHS) protocols. Delivering friendly, respectful, and professional cleaning services directly in private homes. Requirements : No professional cleaning experience required – full training is provided. Reliable car and valid driver's licence (required). Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain). Up-to-date COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations (required). Flexibility to work in diverse environments and interact respectfully with people of all abilities. Dependable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
