* Excellent salary package 95-$120 K + super, per annum
* Bonus $5,000 per annum CPD/supervision
* Bonus $22,000
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
As a valued member of our team, you'll be responsible for:
* Providing comprehensive assessments and therapeutic treatment to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as parents managing children with behavioral, social, and emotional challenges.
* Conducting diagnostic assessments with proficiency in clinical report-writing and maintaining accurate case notes.
* Collaborating closely with our multi-disciplinary team to ensure holistic care and effective treatment plans.
* Mentoring and supervising our therapy support team through case discussions, feedback on reports, and ongoing support.
* Leading evidence-based group therapy programs to address specific therapeutic goals.
* Actively participating in team and peer supervision meetings to enhance professional development and clinical practice.
* Adhering to the ethical standards outlined by the Australian Psychological Society's Code of Ethics.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
As a successful applicant, you'll demonstrate:
* Current registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist, ensuring compliance with professional standards.
* Membership with ACA
* A genuine passion for learning and professional growth, coupled with a commitment to excellence in clinical practice.
* Proven experience and expertise in counseling and case management of children and families facing diverse challenges.
* Strong proficiency in providing evidence-based psychological interventions, with a focus on delivering high-quality care.
* Exceptional record management, report-writing, and case note-taking skills, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
* The ability to engage and retain clients effectively, fostering positive therapeutic relationships.
* Competence in managing caseloads independently within a collaborative team environment.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience working with individuals with complex behaviours, including autism spectrum disorder.
* Eligibility to register with Medicare, facilitating access to additional resources and services.
* Familiarity with administering the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS), enhancing diagnostic capabilities.
