Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Textile Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our fabrics and trims meet the highest quality, environmental, and compliance standards.
Main Responsibilities:
* Conduct research and development on new fabrics and proprietary trims to enhance their performance and sustainability.
* Maintain an extensive library of fabric materials, including test data and compliance documentation.
* Implement quality checks to ensure raw materials meet required standards.
* Support material sourcing initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and reducing duplication.
* Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure product compliance with relevant standards.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
* A degree or certificate in textile design, development, manufacturing, or a related field.
* A minimum of 2–3 years' experience in textile or raw materials development, preferably with exposure to quality and compliance processes.
* A basic understanding of fabric testing methods, performance standards, and global sourcing practices.
